Summer Rambo are beautiful, large sized, tart, green apples. They originated in France circa the 16th century, and were one of the first varieties of apples grown in America. It truly is an "antique" apple, and has lasted the tests of time because of its exceptional qualities.

Summer Rambo are an all time favorite applesauce apple - their tart, white flesh, makes a perfectly smooth and tasty homemade applesauce!

They are also great pie apples - their tart apple flavor and delicate texture shines in homemade apple pies.
